Description: Ambroxol hydrochloride, chemically known as 2-amino-3,5-dibromo-N-(trans-4-hydroxycyclohexyl)benzylamine, with the chemical formula C13H18Br2N2O-HCl, is an organic compound with a molecular weight of 414.56 and is a white to slightly yellow crystalline powder that is almost odorless. It promotes the elimination of mucous secretions from the interior of the respiratory tract and reduces the retention of mucus, thus significantly promoting sputum excretion. It is suitable for acute and chronic respiratory diseases with abnormal sputum secretion and poor expectorant function.
