Application:An endonuclease that acts on phosphodilipid bonds, especially those adjacent to pyrimidine nucleosides, to produce polynucleotides with 3' -terminated free hydroxyl groups and 5' -terminated phosphates. The optimum pH value for enzyme action is 7.8. D·NA enzymes can be activated by divalent metals and inhibited by chelates such as EDTA and sodium lauryl sulfate. Calcium ions at a concentration of 5mM can be used as a stabilizer to protect DNA enzymes from being decomposed by hydrolytic enzymes. It is mainly used to degrade DNA in RNA, purify RNA, and study the interaction between DNA and protein.
