Description: Odorless, colorless, water-soluble and hygroscopic liquid, soluble in water. Has a pungent sweet taste, non-corrosive, low toxicity. Boiling point 233ºC, melting point -38.9ºC, freezing point -10.45ºC, flash point 137ºC, refractive index n20/D: 1.439, relative density 1.0252, refractive index 1.4407. viscosity 107mPa-s(20ºC). Flash point (open cup) 137.8ºC. 
Application: It is mainly used as a solvent for shellac varnish, cellulose acetate, etc.. It is also used in the preparation of unsaturated polyester resin, plasticizer, synthetic detergent, and also suitable for flavor and fragrance and cosmetics and other products that are sensitive to odor.
