1,3-TRIMETHYLCYCLOHEXEN-3-ONE-5 is a colorless low volatile liquid.  Freezing point -8.1ºC, boiling point 214-215ºC, 89ºC (1.33kPa), relative density (20.5/4ºC) 0.9255, refractive index (nD18) 1.4766 . It can be miscible with most organic solvents, and can dissolve 1.2g in 100g water.  Exposure to dimer, oxidation in air to 4,4, 6-trimethyl-1, 2-cyclohexadione.  It smells of camphor.
